1.GENERAL
All orders are accepted on the terms, conditions and
exclusions herein contained. These terms, conditions and
exclusions (either taken as a whole or in any part or
individually) shall not be varied, nor shall their
application to any order be excluded or limited in any way
whatsoever, except as agreed by us in writing; all special
requirements with regard to marking, labelling, packaging
etc.
2.PRICE
Prices on our website or quoted are those ruling at the date
of the quotation or as shown on our website, and shall be
subject to revision if increases in cost or other
circumstances arise. Prices quoted exclude V.A.T and will be
charged additionally to the Buyer. We reserve the right to
make changes to prices without notification (due to
manufacturer increases).
3.DELIVERY
a) Dates for delivery are given in good faith and as
accurately as possible, but are not guaranteed. We shall be
under no liability whatsoever for any delay in performance
of any order by reason on in consequence of force majeure or
of any matter or thing outside our control including but not
limited to labour, civil commotion, natural catastrophe,
government restriction, shortage of supplies of customer's
instructions or lack of instructions. We shall have the
right to dispatch goods when order is complete and not
before unless agreed in writing by Akro Ltd. We shall have
the right to invoice any portion of an order upon dispatch.
b) Costs for
delivery are as per our website for all orders.
Delivery costs are calculated based on the average cost of
delivery, it is irrelevant on the value or weight of goods
purchased
c) Delivery
method; we use various methods of delivery depending on the
items and weight of items. All our deliveries require
signing for and therefore an address must be given for
delivery where a person is available for accepting your
goods. Where a failed delivery occurs then a card will be
left by the courier stating the contact details of the
delivery company, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to
contact the delivery company to re-arrange the delivery. In
the event that the Buyer does not contact the delivery
company and the goods are returned to Akro Ltd the Buyer
will bare the costs for returning and for re-delivery of
their order.
4.RETURNS
1) The Buyer will require a returns authorisation number to
return any item, the Buyer must telephone our office on 0870
190 4091 where an authorisation number can be given.
2)
Unrequired goods for credit will only be accepted within 7
days of invoice and must be in perfect condition and in
original packaging. After 7 days a 30% restocking charge
will apply. No goods are accepted under any circumstance for
return after 30 days.
3) Full
purchase details are required and must be included with
returns.
4) All goods
are returned at the expense on the Buyer except where goods
supplied are; (incorrect, damaged not as described)
Where
incorrect sizes have been ordered and the Buyer requires
exchanging for different size then the Buyer shall be
responsible for the Return & Re-delivery charges.
5)
No special items (Non Stock Lines) will be accepted back for
credit
5.DAMAGES & SHORTAGES
All
deliveries of goods must be inspected at time of delivery
and the delivery drivers paperwork must be clearly marked as
Damaged or Items Missing.
If any order
is received short or damaged, notification must be received
within 24 hours of delivery (to allow for courier claims).
6.CREDIT/PAYMENT TERMS
Unless otherwise agreed in writing payment shall be made in
advance. For all account customers' payment is strictly net
30 days from date of invoice. Akro Ltd may charge 8% above
the base rate of Barclays Bank PLC on any account not
received by this date. The title of goods will not pass to
the Buyer until the goods are paid for in full.
7.GUARANTEE & LIABILITY
Goods supplied by Akro Ltd are guaranteed in accordance with
the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty
provided with the goods (normally 1 year parts and labour) where warranty's
are not stated please contact our office on 0870 190 4091 to
find out the actual warranty given. The warranty applies to
UK mainland only. Our warranty does not apply to wear and
tear, or if a product has been damaged or misused. It does
not apply to machines/equipment that is marked 'no
commercial warranty' which are suitable for domestic use
only and which must be returned direct to the manufacturer
in the event of breakdown. Machines returned for repair in
warranty where it is found the machine has been abused or
has not been used in accordance with manufactures
instructions will be charged for. This also applies to
machines that have not been maintained properly, including
cleaning and descaling where necessary.
8.OTHER
TERMS
Akro operates a policy of continuous product development and
improvement and from time to time, may alter the
specification of items shown in our catalogue and on our
website.
Images shown on our website in most cases is correct but
items may differ in appearance to the item that is shown
although the specifications will be correct as much as is
possible.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior
notification.
9.CHANGES
Every effort is made to prevent printing errors in our
catalogue and on our website. Any error will be at the time
of ordering, so that we can proceed with correct details and
pricing.
In line with Akro quality policies, telephone calls may be
monitored/recorded for training purposes.
10.HAZARDOUS GOODS
Certain items i.e. Butane gas canisters and chafing fuel,
are not available outside the UK mainland.
11.DISCOUNTS
Customers that are looking to place large orders (in excess
of £500.00 net not including machines) may be entitled to a
further discount.
